Check In Procedures

Be Fire Ready.
In order to move into their campus housing, students need to be
cleared in four areas (Registration, Transcripts, Health & Finance) prior to
arriving on campus. Please visit this link to learn what you need to do to be Fire
Ready. If students are not Fire Ready by their arrival to campus, they will be
directed to the Fire Ready hub before moving into their campus housing.

Sign Up.
The Housing Office or Resident Directors will send out a link for
students to make their check-in appointments. Be sure to sign up for a time!

Residential Forms.
Prior to arriving to campus, students will receive the
following forms in their SEU e-mail from their Resident Director.
Residential Policy Acknowledgement – required
Personal Item Inventory – optional
Students need to complete the Residential Policy Acknowledgement Form in
order to check-in to their campus housing.

Check-In.
At the designated check-in area, a Resident Assistant will verify that
the student is Fire Ready and has completed the required online forms. If the
student has not completed their online forms, they will be asked to do so on
their phone before they can check-in.
The student will then be sent their Housing Check-In Form via their SEU e-mail.
The Resident Assistant will walk the student to their room. The student will walk
through their room and inspect it for damages. They will upload any pictures of
damages, and electronically sign the form to complete it.

Keys.
Once the form is completed and submitted, the Resident Assistant will
give the student their room key, OR green slip if the student should need to get
their Fire Card from the Campus Card Office.
