Campus Dining

In addition to Tuscana Ristorante, our main dining location, Southeastern has a variety of food and beverage options for students to enjoy, including: Mi Casa Cafe, Chick-fil-A, Portico Coffeehouse, Back Yard Burgers, Einstein Bros Bagels and Papa Johns.

Tuscana Ristorante

Tuscana Ristorante is the main dining facility on campus. Tuscana’s state-of-the-art facilities and rustic Tuscan architecture offer a unique dining experience. The Ristorante’s all-you-can-eat menu includes a full salad bar and soup station, brick oven pizza, a grill and deli station, a pasta bar and a made without gluten station. Tuscana Dining Options

DINING IN
Dining in is the most popular option for enjoying your meals. Enjoy sitting inside or on the patio with easy access to our buffet-style restaurant.

TUSCANA TO-GO
Tuscana To-Go is the quickest and most convenient way to grab lunch on the go (weekday lunches only). The window is located under the awning outside of Tuscana. After you swipe your I.D. card, you can choose from one of the three meal options: the hot entrée for the day, the made without gluten option, or two hamburgers/hotdogs. Your meal will also include a canned soda or bottle of water, a piece of fruit, a bag of potato chips and two cookies. (Tuscana To-Go is not available for Carte Blanche meal plan holders.)

TUSCANA TAKE-OUT
Don’t want to eat your meal in Tuscana? Tuscana Take-Out is another way to grab your meal in a hurry. This option allows you to fill a carryout container with food items of your choice. Instructions for obtaining and using the containers are as follows:

  • Take-out containers can only be used for lunch or dinner on weekdays
  • Students can obtain a container by signing a form at the register after they scan their ID card. An initial $5 deposit (cash only) is required to participate in the Take-Out program. This $5 will be returned to you at the end of the semester when you turn in your container
  • Food items must be able to fit into the container before exiting Tuscana
  • A clean container will be swapped out for your used one each time you choose the Take-Out option. Please rinse your old container thoroughly before bringing it back

MISSED MEAL PERIODS
Can’t make it to Tuscana during lunch? This meal option allows you to grab a quick bite in between breakfast, lunch and dinner on weekdays. Here’s what you can expect:

  • 9:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.: My Pantry items
  • 1:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Deli station, salad, and My Pantry items

Meal Plan Exchange

If you have a student meal plan, don’t forget about the meal exchange option for breakfast and lunch in the food court!

The meal exchange option adds convenience and flexibility by allowing you to exchange a meal swipe for a specified combo meal in the Buena Vida Food Court.
Meal exchange options:

  • Back Yard Burger: 1/3lb cheeseburger, fried chicken tender sandwich, or avoiding-gluten cheeseburger wrap + medium fountain drink
  • Papa John’s: personal pizza + medium fountain drink
  • Einstein Bros. Bagels: bagel and schmear + medium drip coffee; OR turkey, egg and cheese sandwich + medium drip coffee

How it works:

  • Available Monday through Friday for students only
  • Exchange your meal swipe in Tuscana for one of the food court combo meals listed above (cannot swipe in both Tuscana and food court during the same meal period)
  • Meal exchange can be used once per meal period (swipe between 7:30am-10:44am for breakfast; swipe between 10:45am-1:45pm for lunch)
  • Items cannot be substituted for other menu options
  • If additional items are added to your order, they must be paid for in a separate transaction using fire funds, campus cash, credit card or cash
