Security

Campus security officers are available at the office 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can obtain a parking permit, report suspicious behavior or request an escort across campus after dark. Questions about parking violations should be directed to this office.

Parking Permits

All members of the campus community (campus residents, commuters, staff, faculty and vendors) are required to submit a completed vehicle registration form and the following current documentation:

  • SEU ID
  • Drivers License
  • Vehicle Registration
  • Proof of Vehicle Insurance

To register online, fill out the vehicle registration form and upload copies of your documentation. Allow one business day for processing. A vehicle registration form can be obtained, manually filled out and presented along with documentation at security headquarters. The office is located in the South Pointe residence hall F2 (Downstairs entrance near tennis court). Only students will have their account billed after the permit is picked up. Fees are subject to change each school year.

When and Where to Pick up Your Permit

During the school year, vehicles can be registered and/or vehicle stickers picked up at security headquarters (South Pointe F2) Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Student Right to Know and Campus Security Act requires that all colleges compile information regarding certain crimes on campus. This act also requires this information to be provided to all students, employees, and, upon request, to all who have applied for admission.

Southeastern University reports crime statistics to the federal registry annually. For the complete report, please contact Safety and Security or go to the national campus crime registry online at http://ope.ed.gov/security.

From this site, you can also compare statistics with other colleges and universities nationwide.
