Schedule View Your Schedule
Follow the instructions below to view your schedule. It is important to get familiar with the courses you are taking and days and times that you need to be committed to class. If you have more questions about your schedule, feel free to contact advising@seu.edu.
Steps:
- Visit the MySEU dashboard and log in
- To log in to JICS, your username is your SEU Student ID number, and your password is set up as the last four digits of your social security number. If you have difficulty logging in, please contact helpdesk@seu.edu or 863.667.5028.
- Along the top menu, click on the tab titled Student (see Example 1 below)
- Along the left-hand menu, click on Student Schedule
- In the Term drop-down, select the upcoming semester and then click Search. The schedule for that term will appear, if available (see Example 2 below)
- Print your course schedule for reference. Pay attention to the start/end dates of each class and the delivery type (online or face-to-face).

Adding A Course
- To add a course to your schedule, click on “Add/Drop Courses” link. On the Add/Drop Courses page, select the correct term, and then click search. Tip: When selecting the term, also select your appropriate sub-term. If you are a traditional student, select the year and term with the “Traditional Program” indicator.
- When you find the course that you need, click on the check box, then add the course by clicking the “Add Course” button at the bottom of the page. Be sure that the days/times work with your schedule and that the course(s) selected follow your degree plan to keep you on track. If you do not have a check box next to the course, please contact Registrar@seu.edu for assistance.
TO BE REMOVED FROM A CLASS, there are two options: dropping and withdrawing. There are major differences between these choices, so be careful!
Dropping a Course
- BEFORE the drop/add deadline (recommended): You may drop a course without financial or academic obligation until the Drop/Add deadline (on the third day into the semester). Dropping a course before the Drop/Add Deadline removes the course from your permanent university record.
- AFTER the drop/add deadline (if available): Once the semester has started and the Drop/Add Deadline has passed, you must contact the Office of the Registrar in writing to drop the course (email is fine). We won’t be able to drop a course if financial aid is based on your registered hours.
- Textbooks: If you bought your textbooks from the Campus Bookstore and have not opened your books, you may return them to the bookstore for a refund.
Withdrawing from a Course
- BEFORE the withdraw deadline: If you don’t want to complete a course (and you’ve missed the drop/add deadline), you must withdraw before the withdrawal deadline. You are financially responsible for all withdrawn courses.
- Grade: A grade of W will be recorded on your permanent transcript record. The W does not affect your GPA but could hinder academic progress for financial aid qualification.
- Required form: You must complete the Course Withdrawal form, found on MySEU under Academics/Registrar/Forms, to withdraw from a course. Email or fax it to the Office of the Registrar.
- Failure to withdraw: If you fail to withdraw, you will receive the grade you have earned, which may be an F.
- Deadline: The deadline to withdraw from a class is before the course is 60% completed. This is the end of the fifth week for 8-week courses.
Withdrawing from Your SEU Program
If you need to completely withdraw from your SEU academic program, contact the Office of the Registrar right away.
