Overview As the Department of Spiritual Formation, we offer a variety of opportunities for students to grow in their relationship with God through dynamic experiences. These include: chapel, discipleship, missions, online devotionals, and SEU Conference.

We strongly believe that SEU is molding the leaders of tomorrow, right here, right now. Our profound commitment to influencing our culture begins with nurturing these future leaders! They are destined to lead and make a positive impact in every aspect of our society. Our heartfelt desire is to witness them carry the essence of Jesus into those spheres of influence.“
Fun fact: “You can catch me at Disney or an Orlando Magic Game.“
Why you love SEU/favorite part: “Being able to work in an environment that is centered around developing leaders and helping build faith-filled disciples has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my life. I love that every day I get to go to work with people that feel more like family than coworkers and students and chase after the spirit of God together.”
Fun fact: “I used to play keys and run tracks for SEU Worship when I was a student!”
Why you love SEU/favorite part: “I love being a part of a community that continues to exemplify the importance of spiritual growth and the empowerment of our SEU students.”

Why you love SEU/favorite part: “I absolutely love seeing students given the opportunity to rise up and take their place in the kingdom of God all around the world, leaning into the fact that they don’t have to wait until they’re older to live a wild adventure for the Lord and have massive, eternal impact.”
Fun fact: “I’ve been to 51 countries!”
Why you love SEU/favorite part: “I love working at SEU as I get to invest in the future leaders of tomorrow while they discover their divine design today. Witnessing the spiritual growth and global impact of our students fuels my love for this role, making it an incredibly fulfilling and rewarding experience.”
Fun fact: “I am currently pursuing my Masters in Business Administration as I look forward to graduating this spring!”
Why you love SEU/favorite part: “I love being a part of a community that believes in cultivating students’ creativity while also setting the atmosphere for spiritual growth. It is such a unique expression to serve alongside a team of people who believe in launching students into the plans God has for them!”
Fun fact: “My wife and I grew up in the same city, went to the same elementary school, and didn’t meet each other until after we graduated college.”

It is such a unique expression to serve alongside a team of people who believe in launching students into the plans God has for them!”
Fun fact: “I am a certified scuba diver and love spearfishing!”
Why you love SEU/favorite part: “I love SEU because it emphasizes both practical and spiritual practices and disciplines! There is something to say when you can come out of a university not only with an incredible experience and resume but more compassionate, disciplined & looking more like Jesus.”
Fun fact: “I love to rollerblade – any time of year anywhere!”
Why you love SEU/favorite part: “I love that SEU has so many opportunities to offer outside the classroom.”
Fun fact: “I’m part Korean.”
Why you love SEU/favorite part: “I love SEU because we believe in community. In seasons in my life where I have felt weak or insufficient, I have always had leaders and friends who not only were there for me but pointed it all back to Jesus.”
Fun fact: “Music has always been a huge part of my life and I have been classically trained on the violin for 16 years!!”
Why you love SEU/favorite part: “My favorite thing about SEU is that I get to watch young people learn to hear and obey the voice of the Lord and see it propel them into their calling! Every day here is an opportunity to know God deeper and we hope to exemplify that to every student.”
Fun fact: “I was once on a TV show with my two middle school celebrity crushes. It was both a dream come true and an incredibly humbling/embarrassing experience.”
Why you love SEU/favorite part: “My favorite part of SEU is the culture of worship, in which everyone is encouraged to worship and glorify God, not only through song and music, but through each individual’s gifts and talents, their major and career choice, and through every conversation and interaction with others!”
Fun fact: “I sat 2 rows behind Michael Jordan at church one time. GOAT.”

Why you love SEU/favorite part: “I love SEU because it has become my home away from home. The community I have here as well as the opportunities it has opened up for me is something I will always be grateful for. There is a well of knowledge here at SEU ready for anyone to tap in and drink from!”
Fun fact: “I’m left-footed and right-handed… also love to play soccer!”
