Required Documents

Financial Aid Steps

  1. File the FAFSA
  2. View the additional required financial aid documents (after SEU has received your FAFSA)

View your required financial aid documents:

  1. Visit View Your AwardLog_in
  2. Click “Check Your Status”
  3. If this is your first time logging in, choose the option “First Time User” and follow the prompts on the screen.
  4. If you have previously logged into the system, enter your SEU Student ID and your PIN.
  5. Problems logging in? Click on “Forgot PIN” and follow the prompts on screen.
  6. Once you have logged in, make sure you are in the correct year by checking the top panel. (You should be in the year for which you are applying for financial aid, not necessarily the current school year.)
  7. Under the Documents tab: There’s a list of documents that you are required to complete as well as a link to download the appropriate forms. Links to download the appropriate forms can be found under the Forms tab.
  8. Check this list OFTEN: Additional documents may appear on this list after the FAFSA and SEU Student Information Sheet are processed. This can take several days, so it’s important that you log back in again after submitting those documents to see if any additional documents are required. Please check back regularly.)
  9. Completed documents should be sent to sfs@seu.edu. PLEASE put your name in the subject line.
  10. Any documents that begin with “Fed DL” pertain exclusively to federal student loans and can be completed at studentloans.gov. You do not need to do these if you do not want to take out any loans. However, please notify us if this is the case so we can waive these forms on your account.
  11. Any balance on your account beyond that which is covered by financial aid can be paid online.
