Welcome to ACE!

The Academic Center for Enrichment (ACE) is the learning and tutoring center here at Southeastern University. By providing a welcoming, supportive, and collaborative learning environment, we foster student success for our campus community.

ACE serves SEU students by providing free individual tutoring, group study sessions, access to academic resources, and seminars covering various topics to promote academic success. Examples include time management skills, study skills, writing styles, and much more.

We are located in Buena Vida East on the second floor (classroom level).

How We Can Help

Academic Success Coaching provides students with professional mentoring and support in navigating college success. Students may have one or multiple one-one meetings with an Academic Success Coach. Meetings may be face-face or virtual.

Individual tutoring is designed for you to bring your questions and review what you have already learned in class with your professor. Sessions last 40–50 minutes and may be face-to-face or virtual. Be prepared for your tutor to ask what you already understand in your class and what your learning goal is for the session.

Study labs are held at specific times and are tutor-supervised. This allows you a quiet place for independent study with the convenience of having a tutor nearby to help you as needed. You can come for a few minutes or stay for the entire lab session.

Workshops and Seminars are designed for groups. These sessions address specific courses or skills in a community-oriented environment.
